Qualifications:

• MB BS (Syd) 1976
• FRACS 1984
• Worked in solo private practice in the Hawkesbury district for 36 years, from September 1987 to October 2023.
• Appointed as Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) to Hawkesbury Hospital throughout this period (1987 to 2023)
• Currently still involved in teaching Notre Dame University medical students.
• Head of Department of Surgery, Hawkesbury Hospital, from 1994 to 2022, when I stood down.
• Was also Chair of the Medical Staff Council for a part of this time.
• Since February 2024, I have been working as a "Professional Member" on the Guardianship Tribunal, a division of NCAT, looking after the interests and welfare of people with disabilities.

Community Service:

• For 36 continuous years, I was available at all hours, 7 days a week, and close to 365 days a year in my Surgical Practice, for Emergencies and Electively, for consultations and surgical procedures.
• For many years of my practice, (and until COVID), I was the only Specialist Medical Practitioner in the Hawkesbury to visit frail elderly individuals in their Retirement Facilities.
