Council supports 15 top events in latest funding round

Fifteen events will receive sponsorship from Hawkesbury City Council in its latest Event Sponsorship Program funding round.
The funding will go to a range of events, from music and craft to endurance horse rides, a gathering of car enthusiasts to woodworking, boat races to Anzac Day and Christmas carols.
Hawkesbury Mayor, Les Sheather, said “Hawkesbury City Council is committed to supporting events throughout our area that contribute to the vibrancy and success of our extraordinary community. The sponsorship program aims to help create events that are safe, engaging and well-managed, benefiting participants and the wider Hawkesbury region.”
“We encourage you, our community to get out and take part in these exciting events which will be held at various times throughout the year,” he said.
