Come see us at the Hawkesbury Show!
7 April 2025
Everybody loves the Hawkesbury Show – including us!
We invite you to come and challenge everything you know about us at our Hawkesbury City Council Pops Up at the Show tent at the Hawkesbury Show from Friday to Sunday, 9-11 May 2025.
Our award-winning display is back bigger and better than ever, connecting visitors with our services and programs, delivering important information from our experts and presenting our latest draft plans and policies for your feedback – all in a fun and interactive way!
Our Community Planning and Partnerships team will introduce you to our ‘Hi Neighbour’ campaign. Come knock on our front door and learn all about how we are working to connect isolated residents in our community.
Our Corporate Planning team is eager to hear your feedback on our draft Community Strategic Plan, draft Four Year Delivery Plan, and draft 2025-26 Operational Plan – three critical documents that will help shape your Hawkesbury for years to come.
Our Arts and Culture team also wants to hear your hopes and dreams for the future of arts and culture in the Hawkesbury – including our libraries, our museum and our gallery.
If you’re interested in adopting a pet, or want some advice, our Animal Shelter team will be there with their adoption board and discount adoption vouchers and a whole wealth of responsible pet ownership information.
Younger visitors can try their hand at being a Council worker at the Show. Make your way through our Construction Zone obstacle course to get to the big yellow Council tractor and sit inside!
If you love saving money on waste, then learn from our waste team how to Sort, Separate and Save before you visit the Waste Management Facility. The first 200 visitors per day to our waste display will score a free desktop garbage bin. And as is tradition, our resident ‘face of waste’ Paulie will drive our waste truck in the Show parade, make sure you give him a wave!
Our Customer Service team will be there to collect your general feedback and help you with any questions you may have. Our Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants team will be on hand to talk to you about the latest milestones on our suite of transformational projects.
Our much-loved Show Passport will be back, encouraging all visitors to visit and connect with our emergency service partners and neighbours at the show. Visit them all to claim your prize! We will be giving away 1000 native plants thanks to our Hawkesbury Community Nursery. You could also go in the draw to win a fun family night out, thanks to the Hawkesbury Buzz e-newsletter! We will also gift the first 100 mums through our tent a free cupcake on the morning of Mother’s Day!
All this and much more! We look forward to seeing you at the show!
