Have your say on our Draft Hawkesbury Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan 2025

10 October 2024

The Draft Hawkesbury Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan 2025 has investigated the consequences of flooding from the Hawkesbury River and recommends several measures to reduce future flood risks and impacts.

Council is committed to community safety and the Council’s floodplain management program supports solutions which reduce the risk to lives, and limit the social and economic damage from flooding.

Council is inviting community members to view and comment on the Draft Hawkesbury Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan 2025 which is on public exhibition at https://www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au until Monday, 9 December 2024.

You can also view a hard copy of the Draft Study and Plan at Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor, from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.

Council is also holding the following four pop-up information sessions for community members to learn more about the plan and provide feedback on it.
