Represent your community on Council's Heritage Committee

Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified members of the community for appointment as community representatives on the Hawkesbury Heritage Committee.

The role of committee members is to provide advice to Council on a range of heritage related matters.

Fourteen community representatives will be appointed to the Hawkesbury Heritage Committee following the review of the expressions of interests received. Community members with industry knowledge and experience, technical skills and/or their ability to interpret the common interests of residents will be selected.

To be selected representatives will need to:

  • Have experience and knowledge of heritage matters in the Hawkesbury
  • Be able to attend and participate in Committee meetings (typically 5pm – 7pm Thursday evening every 3 months)
  • Agree to Council’s Code of Conduct and relevant Terms of Reference

Community members who meet the above criteria and are passionate about heritage are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest.

Hard copy Expressions of Interest can be sent by mail addressed to the General Manager at Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146 Windsor NSW 2756, or by email to council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au
