HOLIDAY MOVIES

Tuesday, 9 July and Wednesday, 17 July 2-3.30 PM

Blast Off! into another galaxy watching these “spacey” movies. Bring your snacks and drinks. Check Eventbrite or call the library for the title of the DVD to be screened.

RECYCLED CRAFT SPACE STATION

Calling all future Aeronautical Engineers! Help construct a mini space station using a variety of recycled materials.

THE FORCE IS WITH YOU SCIENCE WORKSHOP

The Jedi aren’t the only ones who use the force! This fun, interactive workshop, presented by Children’s Discovery, explores the laws of force and motion.

GALAXY EXPLOSION BOX

Create your own galaxy-inspired explosion box that will be out-of-this-world once it is filled with photos and keepsakes.

JUNIOR ASTRONOMERS WORKSHOP

Learn to make a glittering Nebula-in-a-bottle and discover how local astronomer, John Tebbutt, became world-famous by some remarkable astronomical observations and incredible calculations.

$15 – For ages 5 - 12

CRAFTY RAFTERS

Thursday, 18 July 10.30AM-12.00PM

Build a raft from upcycled materials and learn how to navigate the rich aquatic history of the Hawkesbury inspired by the mighty Dyarubbin (Dyarubbin means Hawkesbury River in Dharug language).

We are nuts about nature! If you are too, come and learn how making art connects us to the natural world. In this workshop, you can use imagination to make your mark using foraged leaves and flowers!
