Get into the Christmas spirit at Light Up Windsor Street Fair

The Hawkesbury’s favourite annual Christmas event – Light Up Windsor Street Fair – returns on Saturday, 3 December 2022.
Windsor Mall and George Street, Windsor will with burst to life with Christmas cheer from 5pm to 9pm, including dozens of market stalls, snow flurries, Christmas lights, free face painting, and roving entertainment.
The main stage will provide hours of family entertainment including the best talent in local music and dance and a special visit from Santa and his elf helper.
With more than 50 stalls offering Christmas decorations, homewares, pet gifts, handmade jewellery and more, plus many of the Windsor Mall shops open for trading, Light Up Windsor will be the perfect opportunity to find a perfect Christmas gift for your loved ones. Local cafes and restaurants will also be open, offering plenty of options for a bite to eat.
Council’s ever popular ‘Find a Reindeer’ children’s competition will also make a comeback. Visit all the locations and deliver your passport to Council’s tent on the night to collect a special prize. Children can also collect their passport from Monday, 21 November from the Hawkesbury Visitor Information Centre at Clarendon, and even collect their first ‘bonus’ stamp while they are there. The Visitor Information Centre is open every day from 9am to 4pm, including weekends. Passports can also be collected on the night from Council’s stall.
All passports that are completed at the Street Fair, including the bonus stamp from the Visitor Information Centre, will go into a draw to win a special Hawkesbury family fun pack. Details on the prize will be announced soon, so follow @HawkesburyEvents on Facebook and Instagram for details.
The Mayor of Hawkesbury, Councillor Sarah McMahon is looking forward to getting into the Christmas spirit at Light Up Windsor.
“Last year’s Light Up Windsor was our biggest ever. It was amazing seeing so many people out and about in Windsor celebrating the festive season together,” Mayor McMahon said.
“Light Up Windsor has become the must-attend event in the Hawkesbury. Not only is it a great way to celebrate the season, it is also a fantastic opportunity to support local businesses. I encourage everybody to mark Saturday, 3 December in their calendar and come along.
Light Up Windsor is presented in conjunction with the Windsor Business Group, with sponsorship from Windsor RSL, Bendigo Bank, Ray White Windsor, Angels Florist, Blossom Boutique, Creative Dance Academy, FunSerious, Rafton Family Lawyers, We Donut Care and Windsor Function Centre.
