Road Naming Proposal Associated with Vineyard Precinct Stage 1

Notice is given that Hawkesbury City Council in accordance with the New South Wales Roads Act 1993 and by resolution dated 22 February 2022 is seeking public comment in regards to a road naming proposal list in connection with the Vineyard Precinct Stage 1, in the suburbs of Vineyard and Oakville. The list consists of 49 names which have been approved by the Geographical Names Board.

Submissions on the proposed name are invited and will be received by Council until 5pm on Thursday, 7 April 2022. Submissions should be addressed to the General Manager and can be mailed to PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756, or emailed to council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au

Any comments about this proposal may contain information that is personal, such as information that identifies you, etc., for the purposes of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act, 1998.

The purpose of collecting this information is to assist Council in obtaining the views of the community. The information may also be made available to third parties in accordance with the relevant legislation.

The submission of personal information with your comments is voluntary but, if not provided, may affect consideration of such comments. The information will ultimately be stored in Council's records system.

TENDERS

Playground Inspection and Maintenance Program

Tenders are invited for the Playground Inspection and Maintenance Program and will be received up to 3pm on Wednesday, 20 April 2022.

Council is seeking tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced playground inspectors and service providers or organisations or individuals to provide playground inspection and maintenance services in accordance with the terms and conditions of the request for tender.

Tender documents are available free at WSROC e-tendering website at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/ or at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST) from Tuesday, 29 March 2022.

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

The canvassing of Councillors will automatically disqualify the applicant from the tender process.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Community Representation on Council's Heritage Committee

Expressions of Interest are invited from suitably qualified members of the community for appointment as community representatives on the Heritage Committee. Membership of the Heritage Committee includes fourteen Community appointments. Community members are generally appointed to committees on the basis of their industry knowledge and experience, technical skills and/or their ability to interpret the common interests of residents.

This Committee provides Council with advice on heritage matters.

AGREEMENT TO RENT PART OF INDUSTRY ROAD RESERVE FOR SIGNAGE PURPOSES

Expressions of Interests are sought for a suitable tenant to rent advertising space within Industry Road Reserve, located at 9 Industry Road, Vineyard and will be received up to 3pm on Thursday 28th April 2022.

Hawkesbury City Council owns Industry Road Reserve, located between Industry Road and Windsor Road. The land is used for drainage purposes and pedestrian access. There is currently a billboard structure located on the site and this will remain in situ, for the successful company to use.

Tender documents are available at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor from 28 March 2022 for free.

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for Demolition of Existing Structures, Land Clearing, Earthworks, Construction of Roads, Service Infrastructure, Subdivision to Create 21 Torrens Title Lots in Two Stages at the above property. The applicant is Mepstead & Associates Pty Ltd. Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.

The proposed development is defined as integrated development under Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 because an approval under the Rural Fires Act 1997 is required. The approval body is the NSW Rural Fire Service.

The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period 31/03/2022 to 14/04/2022.
