Proposed Adoption of ‘Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors Policy'
Under the Local Government Act 1993, Council is required to review and adopt its Policy for the Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors within 12 months of the commencement of each term of Council. As part of this process, Council is also required to give public notice of the proposed adoption of the Policy for the making of public submissions.
At its meeting on 9 August 2022, Council resolved to place the Draft Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors Policy on public exhibition for a period of 28 days and seek submissions from interested parties.
Council’s Draft Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors Policy will be available for view and comment at:
- Online : www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au via the Have Your Say tab or www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au
- In person: Council’s Administration Building between 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday at 366 George Street, Windsor from Wednesday, 24 August 2022 until Wednesday, 5 October 2022.
If you would like to make a submission, please quote Reference: ‘Draft Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors Policy’.

Council will consider all submissions received at a subsequent Council Meeting.

Your submission, including any personal information, is accessible by any person upon written application, subject to Council’s Privacy Management Plan and the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. The inclusion of personal information in your submission is voluntary. The information will ultimately be stored in Council’s records system.

Notice is given that Hawkesbury City Council in accordance with the New South Wales Roads Act 1993 and by resolution dated 19 July 2022 is seeking public comment in regard to a road naming proposal in connection Vineyard Precinct Stage 1 - Part 2 - (95495).
