The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period 20/05/2021 to 21/06/2021. All plans and details may be inspected between 9:00am and 4:00pm Monday to Friday, at Council's Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor.
During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference DA0434/20. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission, your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.
Please note that confidentiality is not available to objectors. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational problems. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council Policy for Access to Information.
Under Section 10.4(5) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any political donation or gift. Any submission made is to be accompanied by a Political Donation and Gift Disclosure Statement. This statement is available from Hawkesbury City Council.
If you have any concerns about the proposal, it is suggested that you speak with the assessing officer so that all aspects may be fully discussed. Matters such as privacy, overshadowing and impact on adjoining owners are a normal part of our assessment.

Expressions of Interest
Community Representation on Council's Local Planning Panel
Expressions of Interest are sought from a mix of people who live locally to join a pool of community representatives. The successful community representatives will be placed on a roster and may be required to attend approximately four meetings a year.
This is a part-time, paid role commencing in July 2021 and remunerated in accordance with rates set by the NSW government.
You will be required to address the below selection criteria in your application.
Selection Criteria – Community Representative
Local community representatives may be selected on the basis that they:
* are current residents within the Hawkesbury Local Government Area
* have an understanding of the Hawkesbury Local Government Area and issues of concern to the local community
* have the capacity to form independent views and to contribute constructively to the determination of applications
* are able to demonstrate a basic level of understanding of the planning system, i.e. knowledge of the Council’s Local Environmental Plan, Development Control Plan, Local Strategic Planning Instrument or Community Strategic Plan
* are committed to:
o following the Code of Conduct for Local Planning Panel Members and the Local Planning Panels Operational Procedures
o attending the Local Planning Panel meetings and contributing constructively to the determination of applications.

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for - Change of Use - Business Premises at the above property. The applicant is Sutherland and Associates Planning. Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.
The proposed development is defined as integrated development under Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 because an approval under the Heritage Act 1977 is required. The approval body is the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage.

RESILIENT HAWKESBURY GRANTS JR 0554
Hawkesbury City Council is offering grants of $500 to $5000 to support
communities impacted by the 2019/20 fires.
Grants are to support projects that are community-led and contribute to
community recovery and/or resilience including supporting community
wellbeing.
This funding has been made available through the Bushfire Recovery and
Resilience Fund and is subject to application and funding availability.
Applications for Round 3 close Wednesday 30 June 2021
A Zoom meeting will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday 25 May to provide assistance to any applicant.
