Public Exhibition
Amendment to Adopted 2021/2022 Fees and Charges
Hawkesbury City Council is inviting community members to view and comment on Council’s Amendment to Adopted 2021/2022 Fees and Charges in its Draft 2021/2022 Operational Plan. The Adopted 2021/2022 Fees and Charges will be on public exhibition from Thursday, 22 July until Friday, 20 August 2021.
The Amendments to the 2021/2022 Fees and Charges have been created to reflect:
- A reduction in fees announced by the Office of Local Government in relation to lifetime registration for cats and dogs. To reflect this reduction, Council proposes to revert the proposed 2021/2022 fees in relation to the purchase of cats and dogs from the companion animal shelter to the 2020/2021 amounts. This fee is currently part of a combined fee for the sale of cats and dogs through the Companion Animal Shelter, which includes microchipping and desexing.
- To include 28 fees and charges for the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery and Hawkesbury Regional Museum activities that were not part of the exhibited Draft 2021/2022 Draft Operational Plan
The Draft 2021/2022 Operational Plan has been developed to outline the proposed projects, programs and activities for 2021/2022. It also includes information about rates, fees and charges and estimated income and expenditure.
A copy of the Amendment to Adopted 2021/2022 Fees and Charges in the Draft 2021/2022 Operational Plan can be viewed on Council’s website at hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au via the Have Your Say tab or the direct link at yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au
