Waste Collection Services
Garbage and Green Waste Collection
There are no changes to the garbage and garden organics collection services. Standard services will be provided including collections scheduled on public holidays. Garbage enquiries: 02 4560 4444.
Recycling
Council will provide a weekly recycling collection service between Monday, 27 December 2021 to
Friday, 7 January 2022 (to eligible properties paying for a domestic waste service). This service will be provided on scheduled collection days including public holidays. Bin collection days remain the same even on public holidays.

If you have additional recycling, including cardboard, you can drop it off for free at the Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility, Open 7 days a week, excluding public holidays.

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for Subdivision - Procedural Subdivision Terminating of an Existing Neighbourhood Scheme DP285689, Demolition of Existing Structures, Site Contamination Remediation Works, Decommissioning of Existing Water Storage Facilities, Civil Works, Construction of Roads, Service Infrastructure and Subdivision to Create 167 Torrens Title Lots to be completed in 5 Stages at the above property. The applicant is Proust & Gardner Consulting Pty Ltd. Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.
The proposed development is defined as integrated development under Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 because an approval under the Water Management Act 2000 and Rural Fires Act 1997 is required. The approval body is the NSW Natural Resources Access Regulator and NSW Rural Fire Service.
The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period 16 December 2021 to 13 January 2022. All plans and details may be inspected between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday, at Council's Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor.
During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference DA0339/21. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission, your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.
