Tenders are invited for Environmental Monitoring and Professional Services for Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility and Former Landfill at East Kurrajong and will be received up to 3pm on Tuesday, 3 March 2020.
Council invites quotes to carry out environmental monitoring of Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility (HCWMF) in accordance with our environmental protection licence – EPL 5293 and of the former East Kurrajong Landfill site (EKLS) (no current EPL).
Tender documents are available at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor from Tuesday, 11 February 2020 for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST) or available free at WSROC e-tendering website at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/.
Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.
Please note there is a compulsory site inspection (or Pre-Tender meeting) to be at Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility, 1 The Driftway, South Windsor on Wednesday, 19 February 2020 at 10am and the second site, East Kurrajong Former Landfill, 747 Putty Road, East Kurrajong on Wednesday, 19 February 2020 at 1:30pm.
The canvassing of Councillors will automatically disqualify the applicant from the tender process.

Hawkesbury City Council has received an integrated development application for Subdivision involving the demolition of existing structures, decommissioning of water storage facility, earthworks, construction of roads, service infrastructure, two stage subdivision to create 27 torrens title lots and two residue lots at the above property. The applicant is Orion Consulting Engineers Pty Ltd. Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.
The proposed development is defined as integrated development under Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 as approvals under the Water Management Act 2000 and Rural Fires Act 1997 are required. The approval bodies are the NSW Natural Resources Access Regulator and NSW Rural Fire Service.
The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period 13 February 2020 to 12 March 2020. All plans and details may be inspected between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, at Council's Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor.
During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference DA0551/19. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission, your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.
Please note that confidentiality is not available to objectors. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational problems. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council Policy for Access to Information.
