Camping
Make the most of your time in the Hawkesbury and camp at Upper Colo Reserve, Hulbert Road, Upper Colo. A basic camping area in the wilderness with clear water, sandy beaches, surrounded by some of Sydney’s most spectacular bushland. A great spot to unwind off grid by the Colo River.
The Motto for the Colo Wilderness is: Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints.
Day visitors are welcome.
Rangers are not always on-site, please respect others by adhering to the terms and conditions you agree to on booking. There is limited mobile phone coverage in the area.
Fees
The following fees and charges (applicable from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025) are per person night and required to be paid required to be paid in advance:
- Adult/Child $15.00
- Under 5 years No Charge and No Booking Required
- Family Rate (4 people aged 5+) - $45.00 (choose Family Group when booking)
