Description:Work is underway on a new playground at Freemans Reach Reserve. The new playground, replacing the older play equipment, includes a new climbing tower with slide, swings, obstacle course, roundabout, rocker, seating and landscaping. Weather permitting, work is expected to be completed by 1 November 2024

Description:New playground underway. Works to install the highly-anticipated brand new playground at Jack Gow Reserve in McGraths Hill are now underway. The new playground on Andrew Thompson Drive was designed following community consultation to ensure the space meets the current and ongoing needs of the community. The new playground will include a climbing tower with slides, seated and nest swings, ground-level trampoline, see-saw, spinner and play cubby/charging station – which will front a new riding/walking path. There will also be a picnic table, benches and seating options, bins and landscaping. Shade sails will also be installed, covering the play and seating spaces
Bowen Mountain Road, Grose Vale - Road Upgrade Program

Description:The works involve excavation, pavement stabilisation, stormwater drainage improvement work, bitumen pavement sealing, table drain grading and line marking. Council has engaged a contractor for this road reconstruction project, and it is anticipated work will commence in the first week of September 2024 . Appropriate traffic control measures will be used to ensure commuters can continue to use the road safely for the duration of the project.

Description:Following a recent inspection of this playground, it has been decided that the softfall is no longer safe to use. A decision has been made to prioritise the replacement of the softfall. We anticipate this will be completed in November 2024. Until then, this playground will remain closed.

The site is located in between McQuade Ave and Windsor Golf Course, South Windsor, providing play opportunities for local residents.
